Leek Soup

2 Quarts water
2 cups leeks, chopped fine
1 cup cubed ham
2 medium potatoes, diced
Salt and pepper, to taste

Mix above ingredients in a heavy Dutch oven or soup pot. Bring to a boil, then lower beat to a simmer. Simmer until potatoes and leeks are done.

Serve with crackers

Yield: 8 servings
