Charleston Rice 2

One 7 oz box Konriko Wild Pecan Rice
2 tbs butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp celery seed
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg, beaten

Cook Wild Pecan Rice according to package directions. Melt butter in large skillet; add onion, celery, green pepper, and mushrooms. Saute until vegetables are tender. Add rice and seasonings. Stir in egg. Turn into buttered shallow 1-1/2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350F for 15 minutes.

Yield: 6-8 servings.
