Country Chicken and Rice

1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
4 chicken thighs, skin removed (about 1/4 pound each)
2 tbs vegetable oil
1-1/3 cups water
1 tbs butter or margarine
1 pkg (5.2 oz) Uncle Ben's Country Inn Brand Vegetable Rice Medley
1 cup broccoli flowerets

Combine thyme, garlic salt, pepper and paprika. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of chicken. Cook chicken in oil in 10-inch skillet over medium low heat until well browned on both sides, about 10 minutes; turn occasionally. Remove chicken from skillet; drain excess fat. Combine water, butter and contents of all three packets in skillet. Bring to a boil. Return chicken to skillet. Cover tightly and simmer 15 minutes. Add broccoli. Continue cooking covered until all water is absorbed, about 5 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
