Brisket 1

4 ounces Worcestershire sauce
2 ounces liquid smoke
3 ounces steak sauce
Optional: 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
One 3-5 lbs. extra lean brisket, trimmed well

Special Utensils: shallow baking pan (approx. 2 x 9 x l4 inch)

Preheat/bake Oven: 250F. Mix ingredients together well. Place brisket in a shallow baking pan; puncture numerous times (both sides) with fork. Pour mixture over brisket, cover and marinate 12 hours (overnight). Turn brisket over at least once while marinating.

After marinating, place brisket on foil in shallow baking dish; pour half of mixture over it. Wrap completely in foil. Bake for 5 hours. Unwrap brisket, discard all grease and liquid. Pour remaining mixture over brisket, re-wrap with foil and cook at 250F for another 30 minutes.
