Mushroom Steak

2 pounds round steak
1 cup corn flake crumbs
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons water
Salt and pepper
6 tablespoons fat, Cisco
1 cup milk
One 10-1/2 Ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup

Cut steak in serving pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Beat steak or have butcher tenderize. Dip in crumbs then in egg mixed with water and again in crumbs. Brown in hot fat. Place in Pyrex dish. Preheat oven to 300F. Pour milk and soup over meat and bake in slow oven at 300F for one hour.
