Skillet Fruit Dessert

1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons corn starch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
One 16-ounce can pear slices, drained
One 16-ounce can peach slices. drained
3/4 cup granola with cinnamon and raising
Vanilla lee cream or whipped topping optional

In medium skillet, stir together brown sugar, corn starch cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir in the pear and peach slices. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Sprinkle granola over fruit mixture in skillet if desired. Top each serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
