Fiesta Mexican Pie

1/2 pound ground beef chopped
1 medium green pepper,
14 cup onion chopped
One 8-ounce jar Cheez Whiz
1-1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 cup tomato, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon cornmeal

Preheat oven to 400F. Brown meat; drain. Add green pepper and onion; cook until tender. Add half cheese and chili powder, stirring over low heat until cheese is melted. Stir in tomatoes. Set aside. Combine remaining cheese, eggs, flour, salt and milk, beat until smooth. Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle cornmeal. Spoon meat mixture over to 1 inch of edge. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Serves 6-8.
