Enchilada Pie 1

1 pound lean ground meat
1 onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon chili powder
One 8-ounce can tomato sauce
6 corn tortillas
One 4-1/2 ounce can chopped olives
1 cup cheese, grated
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 400F. Brown ground meat and onions, draining off any fat. Add seasoning and tomato sauce. Cook about 10 minutes, stirring in a 2 quart casserole to blend flavors. Alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese. Add water over layered ingredients. Cover and bake 20 minutes.

Serves 4-6.
