Ground Beef Croissants

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup white onion, chopped
1/4 cup green onion, chopped
One 8-ounce can crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup whole milk
One 10-1/2 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mild cheese, shredded
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced

Preheat oven to 350F. Brown gound beef in 12-inch skillet; drain well. In same skillet saute white and green onions until tender. Add ground beef. Stuff and roll mixture in each crescent roll; arrange in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Heat milk and soup in a one-quart sauce pan, stirring occasionally. Pour hot creamy mixture over rolls. Sprinkle on cheese and mushrooms. Serve hot.
