Stew 3

2 pounds boneless stew meat
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry onion soup
1 small can mushrooms
1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
Pepper to taste, no salt
1/2 cup red wine

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients in a covered casserole dish. Add vegetables of your choice if desired. Bake 3 hours at 350F. At the last hour, add 1/2 cup water.

Do not pre-brown meat. Serve over rice.
