Cheesy Rice and Ham

1/2 cup each green pepper, celery and onion
2 tbs butter or margarine
2 tbs flour
2 cups milk
1-1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
3 cups cooked rice
1 cup Julienne strips of cooked ham
1 tsp each dry mustard, garlic, salt, and Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp red pepper

Saute green pepper, celery and onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour; add milk and cook until sauce is thickened and smooth, stirring constantly. Add cheese; heat until melted. Stir in rice, ham and seasonings. Heat thoroughly.

Makes 6 servings.
