Chicken Pot Pie 7

1 four lb chicken, cooked and cut into med sized pieces
3 large onions
7 tbs margarine
7 tbs flour
Dash pepper
Dash mace
1/2 tsp Worcestershire
Pinch dried tarragon
1 cup light cream
1 pkg frozen peas or 1 No. 2 can
1 recipe of your favorite biscuit dough (or use canned)

Cook onions until tender. Melt margarine and stir in flour, pepper, mace, Worcestershire, tarragon, and cream. Add 2 cups chicken broth (reserve when preparing chicken). Cook over medium heat and stir until thickened. Arrange onions, chicken, peas in a 2 quart casserole. Pour sauce over it all. Arrange biscuits on top. Brush biscuits with a little light cream. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until browned and done. Bake any remaining biscuits in same oven.

Makes 6 servings.
