Hamburger Stroganoff 2

1 large bell pepper
3 or 4 stalks celery
5 or 6 large green onions
3 or 4 slices bacon (fried), in pieces
2 lb hamburger meat
2 cans mushroom steak sauce
1 pkg beef stew mix
1 carton sour cream
2 cups uncooked rice
3 cups water
1 tbs hot sauce
Garlic, salt and pepper (to taste)

Fry bacon crisp, set aside. Saute onions, pepper, celery. Then add hamburger meat, hot sauce, garlic salt, pepper and brown meat. Add broken bits of bacon, beef stew mix, 3 cups water, steak sauce, and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in sour cream.

Place cooked rice in baking dish, pour sauce over rice and stir lightly to mix. Bake 20 minutes in 350F oven.

Serve with salad and garlic bread.
