Meatloaf 1

Two 10-1/4 oz cans beef gravy
1-1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
1-1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
6 tbs ketchup, divided
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning, crushed

In small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of the gravy and bread crumbs. In large bowl, thoroughly mix ground beef, sausage, onion, celery, 4 tbs of the ketchup, pepper, Italian seasoning and bread crumb mixture. In shallow baking pan, shape meat mixture into 8x4 inch loaf.

Bake at 350F for 1 hour 15 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a 1-quart saucepan, combine remaining gravy, 2 tbs drippings and the remaining 2 tbs ketchup. Heat, stirring occasionally. Serve over meatloaf.

Makes 8 servings.
