Pan broil the steaks in butter and oil and keep warm. Steaks should be broiled over high heat, rare to medium rare, Combine all ingredients except chives in skillet which steaks were cooked in and boil 3 minutes, scraping brown bits from pan. Taste and adjust seasonings if desired. Stir in chives and pour sauce over steaks. Serve immediately.
