Mexican Fritters

Finger Food
2 cups Flour
2 tbs Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1 Beaten Egg
3 tbs Melted Butter
4 tbs Milk
1 cup Peanut Oil

*** Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and onion powder. Add egg, milk and butter to make dough stiff. Knead dough for 5 minutes on lightly floured surface. Divide dough into 30-32 pieces. Roll out each piece into 4-5 inch circle. Use wax paper between circles until all have been rolled out. Heat one inch of oil in skillet or deep fryer. Fry a few circles at a time for about 30 seconds on each side. Serve warm.
