Chicken Lettuce Salad

- 1 large head lettuce, torn
- 3-4 chicken breasts, slivered
- 3-4 green onions, chopped
- One 3-ounce can chow mein noodles
- One 2-ounce package sliced toasted almonds
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- Dressing Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oil (olive oil fine)
Put above ingredients in a large jar and shake. Add dressing just before serving. Serve at room temperature. Do not reheat or chill.
Serves 6-8.
