Red Beans and Rice Salad

- 1 can red pinto beans
- 1 teaspoon salad oil
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed, dried thyme
- 1 cup hot, cooked rice
- 1/2 cup ham, cubed
- 1 hard boiled egg
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
Mix together beans, oil, vinegar and thyme. Let stand at room temperature until cold. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Salt and pepper to taste. Chill.
