Place greens, apples and celery in salad bowl. Fry bacon until crisp; reserve drippings. Drain and crumble bacon. Add vinegar, water, dressing mix and sugar to drippings. Heat to boiling. Pour over salad; sprinkle with bacon. green onion and pepper. Toss gently. Serve immediately.
