Cabbage Salad with Almonds

1 small or 1/2 large head of cabbage
1/2 cup chopped green onion tops
1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds toasted
1 pkg dried Ramen Noodles

1 seasoning pkg, from Ramen Noodles
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
Dash of black pepper

Slice cabbage thinly in a large bowl. Add onion tops, almonds, and noodles, set aside. Heat oil, vinegar, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper in pan until sugar is dissolved. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture; marinate overnight. Drain to serve.
