German-Style Grape Salad

1 lb green or red California grapes, halved and seeded if necessary
1 Red Delicious apple, cored and cubed
1/2 cup sliced celery
4 oz each cooked ham and chicken, cut into strips
4 strips crisp, cooked bacon, divided
1-1/2 cups shredded cabbage
Sweet-Sour Dressing

In large bowl toss grapes, apple, celery, ham, chicken and three strips crumbled bacon. Turn into cabbage-lined salad bowl. Garnish with remaining bacon strip. Toss salad with Sweet-Sour Dressing at table.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Sweet-Sour Dressing:
Warm 1 tbs vinegar and 1-1/2 tsp sugar until sugar dissolves. Cool. Stir into 1/2 cup mayonnaise.

Makes about 1/2 cup.
