Crabmeat Cakes

2 cup crabmeat
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash cayenne, thyme
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1-1/2 cup raw potatoes, chopped fine

Cook the potatoes in the milk in top of double boiler, just until tender. Add seasonings, crabmeat, then the eggs, slightly beaten. Blend well. Drop from a tablespoon onto a greased hot griddle or heavy fry pan, and brown well on both sides.

Serves 4 to 6.
