Crawfish in Wine Sauce 2

1 stick butter (1/4 lb)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon basil
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 cups milk
1 pound crawfish tails and fat

Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until onions are clear. Add crawfish tails. Simmer 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder and flour. Mix well. Add milk and bring to boiling point. Turn off heat and add wine.

Serve over toasted English muffin, with greed salad and sweet peas.
