Shrimp Pasta w/Champagne Sauce

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup champagne
1/2 pound large, peeled shrimp
1/4 teaspoon ground black Pepper
4 ounces fettucin1 noodles

Stove temperature: Medium

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shallot; and saute for about 2 minutes on medium heat. Add cream and champagne, cook for about 5 minutes (stir often).

Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are pink. Stir in-pepper. Cook fettuccine noodles according to package directions and drain well Toss with shrimp and champagne sauce. Sprinkle fresh parsley over top.
