Shrimp Mosque

4 tablespoons olive oil
4 or 5 toes garlic
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 large bay leaf
1 to 1-1/2 pounds medium or large shrimp, unpealed and headless
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon pepper
White wine
French bread

Chop garlic and add to olive oil in large pan. Add rosemary and bay leaf and heat oil. Do not burn garlic. Add shrimp, oregano and pepper. Cook on medium to high neat stirring constantly for 15 minutes until pink, Add enough wine to cover the bottom of pan or enough to dip plenty of French bread. Cook on simmer for 5 minutes until shrimp is done. Add salt to taste. Serve in bowls with juice for dipping.
