Shrimp La Creme

3 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 cup real butter
1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 can mild Rotel
1 cup white wine
Salt, red and black pepper to taste
1/2 cup whipping cream

In order, melt butter; add garlic, green onions and onions. Saute until tender. Add Rotel. Stir on medium fire. Add white wine and seasonings. Let saute about 4 to 5 minutes (do not boil).

Add shrimp and cook until pink and tender. Add whipping cream. Heat (do not boil or cream will curdle). Remove from heat and serve. Serve over angel hair pasta or hot french bread.
