Garfish Patties

2 lb garfish
1 lb potatoes
1 large onion
Green onion tops to taste
Parsley to taste
Garlic powder to taste
1 cup broad crumbs
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil potatoes. While they are boiling, scrape meat from fish with spoon and remove tendons.

Season the meat and add onion tops, onion, parsley, bread crumbs, eggs and garlic powder.

After potatoes have cooled, mash and add to the mixture.

Make patties, not too thick, and deep fry in skillet until golden brown.
