Grilled Barbecue Shrimp

2 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)

1 cup chopped onions
3/4 tsp black pepper
1-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 lemons sliced thin
2 cloves of garlic, minced

Place shrimp on skewers. Marinate in sauce (in long, deep pan to accommodate skewers) for three hours in refrigerator. Grill shrimp on skewers on hot barbecue grill about 2 minutes on each side.
