Lemon Cabbage

6 cups cabbage, shredded
2 cups carrots, shredded
1 onion, minced
1 green pepper, finely cut
3/4 cup salad oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon salt
One 3-ounce package lemon Jello

Mix together cabbage, carrots, onion, pepper and oil, and set aside. Boil together vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, celery seed and salt. Stir in lemon Jello. Cool, then mix into vegetables. Cover and store in refrigerator. Will keep 2-6 weeks.
