Baked Potatoes in a Pot

5 pounds potatoes
1/2 lb butter
1 bunch green onions
1 pint sour cream
2 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
1 jar Hormel bacon bits

Peel potatoes and cut as if to mash. Cook until tender. Drain and return to pot. Chop green onions in 1/4 pieces tops included. Mix all ingredients in pot with potatoes while potatoes are still hot. Serve, hot.

Serves 12-16.
