Old Fashion Baked Macaroni and Cheese

12 ounces, long macaroni
3/4 to 1 lb block cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 tablespoon butter
1/8 cup milk

Preheat oven to 325F. Boil noodles as indicated on package. Set aside. Place half of the noodles in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Dot 1/4 teaspoon butter on top of macaroni. Pour half of the milk on top of the noodles, then sprinkle half of the cheese over top. Repeat another layer of noodles, butter, milk and cheese. bake until golden brown.

Serves 8.
