Edible Centerpiece

1 bunch curly leaf lettuce
1 package baby carrots
4 stalks celery, cut in 1 inch pieces
2 summer squashes
1 zucchini squash
1 pound purple grapes
Cubes of cheese
1 cucumber, sliced
1 packaged cherry tomatoes
Special equipment:
One 8 inch tall Styrofoam cone,
1 large plate, floral tape or clay,
1 package floral pints, toothpicks, round

In a large plate, secure the Styrofoam cone to center with floral tape or floral clay. Beginning at the top and working down the cone, tear and attach the curly lettuce to the cone with floral pins finishing with the bottom and a tray lined with lettuce leaves. With toothpicks secure the veggies randomly around the cone. Place grapes and cheese over lettuce on tray. Serve with your favorite vegetable dip. Can substitute spinach for lettuce and fruit for vegetables.
