Strawberry Butter

One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in pureed strawberries. Cover tightly and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.

May be stored in refrigerator up to one week. Serve with English muffins, toast, waffles or pancakes.

Yields 2 cups.
