Linguini and Broccoli

1/2 pkg (8 oz) linguini, uncooked
1 tbs olive or vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp basil leaves
4 cups (1 lb) fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup sherry
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook linguini according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet heat oil and saute garlic and basil about 1 minute. Add broccoli, sherry, parsley and pepper; cook and stir until broccol1 is tender. Remove from heat, stir in cottage cheese. Toss hot cooked linguin1 and broccol1 mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
