Open Sesame Vegetables

Two 10 oz pkg frozen broccoli, spears, thawed
1 head romaine lettuce
2 tbs sesame seed
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate, optional
2 grapefruit, peeled and sectioned

Cut broccoli spears in half lengthwise; cut any long spears in half crosswise. Wash romaine leaves; break into bite size pieces. Brown sesame seeds in large skillet or wok over medium heat; remove to bowl; reserve. Heat oil in same pan. Add broccoli. Cook, stirring quickly and often, until tender. Add lettuce, salt and monosodium glutamate. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in sesame seeds and grapefruit sections.

Yield: 8 servings.
